Stage Ten of Computers - Dialogue with a long-term computer user about the advantages/disadvantages of Macs and PCs. Some questions you should ask include:

Remember that you should have a notepad or printout of your worksheet. The worksheet is located at the lower part of your Computer Screen. If you do not have a printout then take notes so you can put the information needed in the boxes.

• What operating system does each use? What are some advantages of that OS?
• What compatibility issues do these two types of computers have in relation to data sharing and program installation?
• What type of industries / careers tend to use each type of computer system?

With the importance of computing in today's world, it is highly likely that you know someone who could be described as "a long-term computer user."

Perhaps a staff member in your Pathfinder club fits this description. Invite this person to attend a meeting to have this discussion. It would be a good idea to provide this person with the questions ahead of time to provide ample opportunity for preparations.
